MEET THE SHOP RIDERS

HUCK BOOTH

Meet Huck, our resident shredder, at only 15 Huck is a proper talent on a board. Huck joined the team in ...... and since then hasn't failed to amaze us with his progression. Although he might live quite far from the shop, we knew as soon as we saw him skate that we just had to have him on the team.

Huck has been skating... years and makes sure he doesn't miss any opportunities to skate. Providing quality clips on his Instagram constantly!

Huck has recently started competing in local events around him, most recently he placed 2nd at the Survival of the Sickest hosted by Skateboard GB. Massive achievement! Can't wait to see him in more comps over the year.

Dan Judge

Welcoming Dan Judge, Dan is like the older brother of the team. He is always trying to help the community around him, arranging skate trips and simply supporting anyone who he skates with, he doesn't judge on their level or style.

He has been skating for 13 years, and is one of the most consistent skaters we know. Dan was one of the first riders we had for on our team when the shop first opened, 2 years ago. He is an incredibly hard working man, who juggles his skateboarding, a full time job and running his own skate brand: Dangerous Joys.

Dan has been running Dangerous Joys for 3 years, it started with him making some tee shirts and hoodies. Now he has an amazing variety of clothes, accessories and even his own decks, which we proudly stock in the shop.

Dan SHERBURN

Where do we start with Dan... when we asked Dan some questions to help fill out this blurb his response to "what made you want to skate?" he responded "No hero story, it just looked like the s**t" This is pretty true to character for Dan. He's the master of not taking himself or life too seriously, he's just trying to have fun.

Growing up, one of his family friends used to skate and surf and he was fascinated. Dan said "when they found out I was interested that was it, the helmet was on (reluctantly) and the rest is history"

Like most skaters, Dan fell in love with everything skateboarding is; not just going to skate but the adrenaline, the community, the therapy. No matter what he's doing Dan's got his board with him, "if I've got my board with me, it gives me an escape plan and I just go skate"

Lastly, Dan has a message he insisted I added "Shameless Plug, Go to Shrunken Head, since I've moved here for Uni in Farnham, I've met some great people and shared lots of laughs through the shop. It's a great place with great stock, great staff but only if he's had his coffee. Joking love you Harry!"

JAKE SOPP

Introducing Jake Sopp: Jake has been skating just over 2 years, with the talent Jake has you can tell he's born to ride a board!

Jake, started pushing wood because growing up he saw lads skating up and down his road and always wanted to try. After trying as a kid, it didn't stick. However, after COVID he just had to try again. One day he went out and that was it his passion was back! He's not spend a sunny day since not on his board!

He compares it to therapy, skating keeps his head clear.

When it comes to tricks and style the best way to describe Jake is "POP" the man is full of it. No matter what trick he does best know it will be popped. His favourite trick is a Hardflip, or any sort of Hardflip variation; he does love himself a Ghetto Bird.

We found out about Jake, through team mate Dan Judge, Dan's brand Dangerous Joys has been sponsoring Jake for about 5 months now. He's been cruising around with the DJ team and says "the squad is great, they're all super talented and it's good vibes all round.

We couldn't be happier to have Jake on the team, we're here to make sure he keeps up his insane level or progression, born to be on a board!
